The excipient’s job is to ensure that the active ingredient remains “active” and also stable for the shelf-life of the products.
Types of excipients include binders, coatings, fillers, sweetners, lubricants, glidants, fillers and sorbents.
Excipients, together with inert pigments and solvents, are compounded with active pharmaceutical ingredients to make dosage forms.
An excipient is in general an “inactive” substance which is used as a carrier for the active ingredients to stabilize it.

The conical, nestable UN certified 52L square-shaped container provides a user-friendly, secure and reliable packaging solution. The plastic 100% recyclable material is resistant to moisture and other elements, and the press-on closure does not include the problematic metal clamp ring.

The SquarePack maximizes the pallet footprint, nesting one inside the other when empty, and stacking up to 3 m high when filled, providing a cost-effective solution. In addition, the company realized an added benefit by receiving a colorful package reflecting their company branding.
